Bespoke human-hair pieces,
crafted to measure

European craftsmanship. One wearer at a time.

The European Hair Factory is the manufacturing atelier of the HEADS family — where bespoke wigs, toppers, hairpieces and men’s hair systems are hand-crafted from unprocessed European human hair to the exact measurements of one person: you.

What we craft

Bespoke wigs, toppers, hairpieces and hair systems

Every piece leaves the atelier made for exactly one head — measured, colour-matched and hand-finished.

Bespoke wigs

Full human-hair wigs made to the wearer’s head measurements, parting, density and colour — the couture answer to hair loss and hair change.

Toppers & hairpieces

Made-to-measure toppers and partial pieces that blend invisibly with existing hair to restore volume where it is missing.

Men’s hair systems

Precision hair systems for men — hairline, density and colour built to each client’s specification.

Children’s pieces

Kids’ wigs are only possible made-to-measure — nothing off the rack fits a child safely and comfortably. Our atelier crafts them individually.

Our standards

Manufacturing standards you can feel

1

One wearer at a time

No mass production. Each piece is commissioned for one person and built to their measurements from the first strand.

2

Unprocessed European hair

We specialise in carefully selected, unprocessed European human hair — colour-blended by hand so the finished piece moves and shines like natural hair.

3

European precision

German-rooted craftsmanship and quality control at every step — from raw hair to the finished, fitted piece.

4

A factory with a face

We are part of the family-run HEADS by volu-med house — the same family stands behind the studio and the atelier.

Hair, made for you.

Every detail, one house

HEADS is hair, made for you — from wigs and hair systems to toppers, extensions and brows. One family-run house, one standard of craft, in our flagship studio at Greenbelt.

The craft

From measurement to masterpiece

Made-to-measure head pattern drawn for one wearer
1

Measured & specified

Every commission starts with the wearer: head measurements, hairline, parting, density and a daylight colour match — taken at the HEADS studios.

2

Hand-crafted

In the atelier, the piece is built strand by strand from premium human hair — knotted, blended and finished by hand to the specification.

3

Finished & fitted

The completed piece returns to HEADS for the final fitting: adjusted, cut in and styled on the wearer, with aftercare for life.

2

Measure & design

Your specialist takes measurements, matches your colour and defines your piece with you.

3

We craft, HEADS fits

Pricing

Every piece is quoted individually

Because every commission is made to measure, pricing depends on the piece, hair length, hair quality, base size and density. Private clients receive their exact quote at the HEADS consultation; partners receive terms on request.

Part of something bigger

The atelier behind the HEADS family

HEADS by volu-med is the only vertically integrated hair company in the Philippines — and this factory is the reason why. Extensions, wigs, toppers, hair systems, brows and hair & scalp care: one family, one standard, from raw hair to finished look.

Atelier FAQ

About the factory and our pieces

Can I order directly from the factory? +
Private clients commission pieces through the HEADS studios — that is where you are measured, colour-matched and later fitted. Start at heads.ph or write to bookings@heads.ph. Salons, clinics and hair businesses order directly from the atelier: send your commission to info@europeanhairfactory.com.
What exactly do you make? +
Bespoke human-hair wigs, toppers and hairpieces, men’s hair systems and made-to-measure children’s pieces — each one crafted individually for its wearer.
What hair do you use? +
Carefully selected 100% premium human hair, colour-blended by hand so the finished piece matches its wearer naturally.
Where are pieces fitted? +
Finished pieces are fitted, cut in and styled at the HEADS studios in Makati — with cleaning, styling and repairs available for the life of the piece.
What does “unprocessed European hair” actually mean?+

It means the hair is European in origin and has not been acid-stripped and silicone-coated the way most commercially traded hair is. The cuticle is intact and all running in one direction, which is why the hair behaves like your own: it can be washed and styled, it does not tangle at the nape, and it does not go dull after a few weeks. It is also why it costs more than processed hair.

What is single-hair knotting, and why does it matter?+

Every hair is knotted into the base individually, by hand, one at a time. It is slow work — a full piece takes an artisan many hours — but it is what lets a hairline read as hair growing from scalp rather than as a seam. Because each knot is placed on its own, density and direction can be varied strand by strand, which machine-made and wefted construction cannot do.

What is Swiss lace, and where do you use it?+

Swiss lace is a very fine, soft mesh used at the hairline and the parting. It is finer than standard lace, so it disappears against the skin, and softer, so it sits comfortably on the forehead. It is also more delicate, so we specify it where invisibility matters most and use firmer materials in the areas that take the wear.

What does “German-trained” mean in practice?+

Our specialists are trained through Bergmann in Laupheim, Germany — the family house founded in 1873 that stands behind this factory, and which has run seminars and instructor courses for the hair trade for decades. It means the technique used to fit your piece in Makati is the technique taught in Germany, not something improvised locally.

Do you make anything ready-made?+

No. Every piece that leaves this atelier is made to measure — pattern, base, density, colour and hairline are specified for one wearer, so no two are alike and a commission takes weeks rather than minutes. Ready-to-wear pieces are available separately through our German house; what we make here is bespoke.

What if I have a sensitive scalp?+

We build with materials chosen for prolonged skin contact, and we can specify the base and the attachment method around a sensitive scalp. No material suits every skin, so we recommend a patch test before the first full fitting, and we will tell you exactly what your piece is made from.
